Chickens, a mountain lion, snakes, candy floss, banstand, demonlition derby (which was my first and waaaay<\/i><\/b> too much fun!), quilts, midway and rides, and ducks:<\/p>\n

“Did no one tell you? Did you not get the memo? Nobody f*cks with the Duck, baby!”<\/p>\n

Finney on the carousel, with her Dora ‘pack-pack’ still on. She’d go to sleep with it if she could. Really.<\/p>\n

Owen was brave enough to do this obstacle course\/ride by himself – twice!<\/p>\n

Amazingly enough, not only do I have no shots of the demolition derby and the incredible noise it made, but Finney fell asleep against me during the event. Owen was kind of bored by it at first (huh?) but seemed to like it as it got on. Ten cars, already beat to battered tins before even getting in the fenced-in area, raced around spinning wheels and just ca-rashing into each other in a metal-on-metal free for all. It was glorious and really, mankind at his finest. I’d rather watch this again that another moon landing, no problem. Pictures next year, I promise.
