We love Simon and Veronica dearly and were, in fact, married in the open air outside of their barn back in July 2001. \u00c2\u00a0That was a great day, but far away from the biting chill two days ago. \u00c2\u00a0Cumulatively, they have received ten feet of snow this year. \u00c2\u00a0Ten feet!\u00c2\u00a0Here is an image of Simon lunging (or, exercising) Teddy:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/hellum.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/lungingpano.jpg\" alt=\"Simon lunging Teddy\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Carrie and Finn are in the corner taking things in. \u00c2\u00a0 You know, try as hard as you might, its almost impossible to pano your camera perfectly horizontally across several images to create a pano (5, in this case). \u00c2\u00a0Usually, the best panos result from images shot vertically. \u00c2\u00a0Of course, I shot these horizontally because it was so frickin&#8217; cold and I wanted to get in out of the wind.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over the weekend, we visited some friends who run a country property. \u00c2\u00a0They have dogs, goats, chickens and the like, but what our 4 year old wholly-besotted daughter was really after seeing again were their horses (they have four or five).
