We woke late and had only to wander the Luxor Souk (Market), and explore the Luxor temple complex (which we can see from the roof of our hotel. You can see it in the photo I took of Carrie photographing from between some poolside lounge chairs).<\/p>\n

We returned to Luxor to pick up some things from Badra at Aladdin’s Hule we had taken overnight to think about, and then walked a short distance over to the temple. I had forgotten how small it is, really. I have been there several times now and felt myself taking the same photos I have taken there on previous visits. However, I told myself, this time I was shooting digital and the images would actually be much better in terms of detail than the film imaging I had shot previously. But it was another short day and we head out for Christmas dinner at the Oasis Palace (sic) restaurant nearby very soon.<\/p>\n
