Owen was, more or less, in his final days of single-childness when these photos were taken in early 2004. It has been vitally important for him to have a sibling, but I can’t help feeling nostalgic on his behalf for the halcyon days of dual parental attention 24/7. What a lovely boy he was, and lovely young man he is becoming.

“This way, Owen”      “No! Dis way!”

Nana and Owen watching Mama swim.

Waiting more or less patiently for another photo of our cutie-pie.

“Careful with her, Oboe.”

Waiting with me at a TTC stop one morning. I still remember how cute he was in his little red suit.

…And one of Nana holding Finn, our newest addition to the human race, and the one who made us feel like a family.
