We attended the Globe and Mail’s Christmas party, as we have done each of the past six years, and its kind of fun. You see people from work with their families and they take on a more human face, the kids have fun in jumpy castles, air hockey thingies, face-painting and what-have-you. But this year was quite a lot of fun. It was held at the “Liberty Grand” – a renovated space down on the Lakeshore on CNE grounds that used to be quite something in its day, I think. Quite a lovely Victorian old structure, one of Toronto’s gems.

We sat with friends and the kids went crazy running all over the place. We went over to Richard and Karen’s place afterward for an impromptu dinner and all was great. Here are a few picsh from the Liberty Grand:
